North Atlanta Warriors Varsity Drops Game To Dunwoody After Late Score
North Atlanta Warriors Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Dunwoody pulled away late in a 9-7 victory on Wednesday. The game was tied at seven with Dunwoody batting in the top of the eighth when Josh Hudgins doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Despite the loss, North Atlanta Warriors Varsity did collect eight hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Dunwoody had eight hits on the way to victory.
North Atlanta Warriors Varsity opened up an early lead in the first inning when Mark Church singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Dunwoody scored four runs in the seventh inning. Jack Hardin and Joe Carter each drove in runs during the inning.
